Well, I figured that since I haven't been posting any artwork recently, I may as well post a journal and update those who may be paying attention, as to what I'm currently up to.
These past few months have been some of my busiest, and they keep getting busier and busier. 16 credit hours, 8 to go, and I'll have both BS degrees knocked out of the way. Anyhow, the reason I haven't been painting in my free time, is because one of my classes is a design class. In this class, I draw. I draw a lot. At least for me. I've not done so many full sized drawings in a single year ever. So for me, this is a bit unusual. However, the work being done is all

Well it's been almost six month's since I've begun painting, and although I haven't truly accomplished much, I truly believe I've come a long way from where I once was. With the little support that I've had, I do appreciate it all! Really I do. So... starting next year, I'm going to begin life studies n such... things that I should have been doing all along. An illustration here and there as well as a few contest submissions, and I think I'll be more than satisfied. Sounds like a decent monthly goal.
So yeah... any suggestions anyone?

Nothing Special A mere update.

So, the title speaks for itself. I'm finally moving forward it seems. Only four or five paintings in, and each is a dramatic improvement over the last in some way or another. Nothing's perfect. Just getting better. I've noticed my lighting, shadow, and overall values have improved somewhat as well as form and definition of figure. Hmm... what else?
It's 2am... I'm eating half a pound of dark chocolate, and I'm going to bed. Curse my metabolism o.0;
I need an avatar as well... I'll get there eventually. A gif... a gif of what though? =O

Your artwork is exceptional! I love the pack hound concepts and the general tone of this world you seem to be developing. If you ever want a writer's opinion on story, let me know! I could always use feedback on my worlds as well

I'm doing a lot to get my finances squared away for school currently, and should be attending next January for sure, assuming Boeing does what it does and helps me while I help them. That said, thank you again. Most of what I've been painting is tied into a series of novels I've partially written. I actually hope to finish them in a few years, as well as pop out a graphic novel or two to tie some of the outer stories in with the core stories. - And yes, feel free to share any ideas as I'd love to look them over =]
Whoa, artist and writer... impressive! And you've done work for Boeing? That's a pretty big gig! I saw a neat video by them a few weeks ago (vimeo.com/89526883). I'll await your series, like I said the art alone makes me anxious to explore the world. My own project, I hope to be a video game but I'm writing a screenplay for it first. With any hope, I'll manage to get it done as a movie first so I have a fan base to get a good budget for the game. I'm in school at the moment for writing (hence my hasty replies [sarcasm]), so I admire your balance of professional and personal projects. I'd say best of luck with it all, but it's really your hard work that will get you where you want to go – so keep it up. Once I have a complete "story bible" I'll send it your way, since I'm working more on the gameplay treatment for it.
Yep. Artist and writer, but currently, the easy job takes priority. The stuff that requires a little more tedious skills training (art and writing) will take some time to produce. I intend to go full fledged freelance or studio here in about two years - possibly less. Boeing's pretty neat, it's definitely been a rough and interesting ride.
As for your aspirations and goals. Keep it up. I'd love to see what you come up with - really. I've got several items sitting on my Mac that need to be uploaded anyhow, so I may just dump my progress on this site by the end of the year. Also, sorry for the super late reply. I barely get on DA anymore =s
